Armed robbery caught on camera near Converse

A homeowner's security camera caught armed men trying to break into a home near Converse

CONVERSE, Texas —  Two men were caught on camera trying to break into a home south of Converse on January 15th, according to security camera company, Ring.

The company provided the video, which shows two men approaching the back door of the home. One of them is masked and holding an automatic weapon, while the other is standing off to the side. In the video, you can hear them telling the homeowner to get down on the ground.

According to the homeowner, there were three men that broke in suddenly. The homeowner was not hurt. He posted the video to the Neighbors app to warn other people in the area.

The home was near the cross streets of Trumpet Circle and Snakeweed Drive, just south of Converse, and the robbery happened around 10:20 a.m. on January 15, according to Ring.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office confirmed they are investigating the incident.
