Made in S.A.: Couple creates their own 'Wildway' of life

Couple forges their own path by creating their own lucrative business

SAN ANTONIO — At Wildway they're not making your traditional granolas and hot cereal.

"Our products are very different but they are very clean and really delicious as well," Wildway co-owner, Kyle Koelher said.

They don't use oats or grains, but instead a variety of nuts and never any artificial sweeteners.

"We don't add any sugars at all, we don't add any extracts or any oils. All of our products are really made with what we call 100% real food ingredients and we feel like that is the best way to eat," said Kyle Koehler.

Healthy living is a passion for owners Kyle and Kelli Koehler.

Five years later their chewy granola and hot cereals can be found in 800 stores across the U.S.

"It's been an incredible journey. We are incredibly grateful for the retailers who have given us a chance... and we just want to be able to serve as many people as possible," Kyle Koelher said.

Their business goal also turning into a life motto that they hope to spread.

"It's kind of morphed into what we say is that wildway of life. It's what I was saying about living your own life, choosing your own path, forging your own way of life. And we believe that everyone has their own wildway of life and we want to encourage everyone to find what that is," Wildway co-owner, Kelli Koelher said.
