DERBY, Texas — A one-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler shut down several miles of the I-35 access road north of Dilley, the Frio County Sheriff’s Office and Dilley Fire Department said.
No injuries were reported after a truck carrying batteries rolled onto its side. A HAZMAT team was called out to the scene to assist with the cleanup.
The access road on the east side of I-35, serving northbound traffic from Dilley to Derby, was closed Monday evening as crews cleaned up the scene.
