Police seek information in unsolved murder investigation

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are offering a reward for information that will help them solve an open murder investigation.

26-year-old Eriberto Escamilla was shot in the head on November 22 in an apparent drive-by incident. According to SAPD, witnesses saw the driver of a blue Ford F150 fire multiple gunshots into Escamilla's vehicle, a white 2001 Chevrolet Impala, on eastbound I-10 between WW White and Loop 410.

The bullets went through the passenger side window of the Impala, striking Escamilla in the head. The suspect fled the scene. The victim was taken to SAMMC, where he died two days later.

Police say they may pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the murder suspect. Calls and tips are anonymous.
