Two pilots were able to walk away after a helicopter crashed today at Stinson Municipal Airport on the city's south side, a few miles west of Brooks City-Base.
A spokesperson for San Antonio International Airport says the helicopter was being flown by two Vietnam Veteran pilots doing a refresher course on flying.
The helicopter was five feet from landing when it slammed into the ground. The cause of the crash is unknown.
The two pilots both suffered minor injuries.
