Man shot at Little Woodrow's during fight

Police say a man pulled a gun at Little Woodrow's around midnight Sunday. The shooter is still on the run.

SAN ANTONIO — An altercation inside of Little Woodrow's on Babcock Road ended with one man shot around midnight Sunday.

The shooter is still on the run.

According to San Antonio Police, a 'heavy-set Hispanic male' pulled a gun during a fight and shot a man once in each leg. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by several friends.

The suspect fled the scene and is still at large. SAPD is interviewing several witnesses.

Charles Vargas witnessed the shooting. He said, at first, people started fighting and it just got bigger. He said the suspect started firing at the ceiling of the bar.

"It traumatizes you to the point that you don't really know if you want to go out anymore," he said. "Because, you don't know if the next time you go out, you are actually going to be shot."

Legal counsel for the establishment told KENS 5 that San Antonio Police is investigating and that the business is cooperating with police.
