Prior to that, Earl started his TV career as a multimedia journalist in Amarillo.
Born into a military family, Earl grew up a majority of his life in Mississippi and Louisiana, developing a curiosity to understand and bridge the gap between different communities.
Earl has been able to cover a variety of stories across the Lone Star State, eastern New Mexico and even a tiny bit of Oklahoma.
Earl graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with bachelor's degrees in journalism and Spanish and a minor in criminal justice.
