Steven Bui is a photojournalist at KENS5 in San Antonio, Texas.
A native of Port Arthur and the Golden Triangle, Steven started off his career in TV news as a director/multi-media journalist at Lamar University's TV station LUTV in Beaumont.
After university, he became a news photographer at Beaumont's legacy station KFDM/FOX4 in 2019, even becoming chief photographer there.
Steven’s interests include building gaming PCs and playing metal music on electric guitar. He’s also a self-described anime and manga nerd, and he loves doing still photography and videography when he attends anime fan conventions.
Steven also likes to travel (especially overseas) and is always on the lookout for new things to try, be it food, outdoor activities, art, cultural history, etc. He's always open to a new adventure.
