SAN ANTONIO — From "The Avengerss" Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon) to "Aquaman's" Jason Mamoa (Arthur Curry, Aquaman) and Dolph Lundgren (King Nereus), the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall was packed with Hollywood stars, cosplayers and exhibitors for Celebrity Fan Fest on Friday.
Tens of thousands of attendees swarmed for live music performances, gaming, VR attractions, photo ops with A-list celebrities and the Cars and Stars showcase, which featured over 25 iconic movie vehicles.
Lundgren and Ernie Hudson from "Ghostbusters" said they hope to do some exploring while they’re in town.
"I read up on the Alamo again last night because I know I wanted to go try and see it Sunday when I’m done here,” Lundgren said.
Hudson, meanwhile, said he was in it for the tacos.
"You know, I’ve heard about the food, so I’m looking for a good meal somewhere,” he said.

Exhibitors showed off art, designs and collectibles at their booths. Many of them admit to attending comic conventions simply for fun, but others said they have fun promoting a greater cause.
“We’re actually raising money for Camp Discovery,” said Heather Donella, hospital camp/Wish coordinator. “It’s a camp for children with cancer – and it’s just a week away – where they get to have a normal camp experience.”
Celebrity Fan Fest extends through Father’s Day weekend. Click here for the full lineup.
