SAN ANTONIO — Chris Perez fans will have the chance to meet the musician on Saturday, November 16 at Traders Village. Perez will be there from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with his new hot sauce, which launches that day.
Perez Pepper Sauce will be available at Traders Village and online at CaJohns.com. A five-ounce bottle costs $8. According to a release, Perez and partner John Gomez worked with CaJohns Fiery Foods to develop Perez's original pepper sauce. The sauce features a blend of peppers, spices and other ingredients that promises to pack the heat.
Perez said he hopes to expand his sauce business, noting that Perez Pepper Sauce is just the first step.
In a release, Perez said he "sometimes" starts his mornings with hot sauce shots. He said his love for spice started as a child when he accidentally ate chile de árbol, also known as Mexican chili pepper. Perez claims he "sometimes" starts his mornings with hot sauce shots.
You can pick up a bottle of the sauce and an autograph from Perez at Traders Village on Saturday. He'll be situated at the center of the market, which is covered.
Traders Village is located at 9333 S Loop 410 at Old Pearsall Road. It opens at 9 a.m. Saturday. Admission is free and parking costs $4.
