Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival reveals new location and lineup for 2024

This year's arts festival is set to take place at St. Paul Square on Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to midnight.

SAN ANTONIO — Luminaria announced Friday their new location and list of featured artists for the 2024 Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival.

This arts festival celebrates the arts by allowing various artists to perform and show off their work in a vibrant outdoor setting in San Antonio.

The festival this year is set to take place on Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to midnight. The event is free and features over 100 unique artists from all sorts of genres.

This year's festival will be at St. Paul Square located on the east side of Downtown San Antonio. The square will have a nighttime display of lights and art from Commerce Street to the Alamodome.

In addition, Luminaria has partnered with the Alamodome, UTSA Athletics and various St. Paul Square businesses to celebrate the festival by bringing St. Paul to life.

UTSA Football will be having their annual Homecoming game that same night, allowing all attendees a chance to catch the festival.

There will also be a variety of local food vendors.
