Barktoberfest
Take the family and your four-legged friends out to Boerne on Saturday for a paw-some time at the 4th Annual Barktoberfest, presented by the Hill Country Animal League.
This Oktoberfest-inspired, pet-friendly celebration will feature activities such as doggy dash races, a dog costume contest, pet adoptions from local rescues, a petting zoo and more. There will also be food trucks, music and local beer vendors.

Fiesta Alegria
You won’t want to miss this west-side autumn event at Plaza Guadalupe on Saturday. Fiesta Alegria is San Antonio’s official National Hispanic/Mestizo Heritage Month closing event and a community collaboration that celebrates a clash of culture.
The free celebration presented by the Avenida Guadalupe Association will feature low riders, hot rods, music, vendors and more.
