Chaperone policy to be implemented at Six Flags Fiesta Texas for Fright Fest

Only on Fright Fest nights, every guest under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. This will start on Sept. 7.

SAN ANTONIO — Six Flags Fiesta Texas has announced that a new chaperone policy will take effect starting Sept. 7 during the park's Fright Fest.

Under the policy, every guest under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. Otherwise, they won't be admitted into the park during Fright Fest.

The policy will be in effect by 5 p.m. to park close, but only on Fright Fest nights.

The chaperone will have to show a valid government-issued photo identification with their date of birth on it. One chaperone may accompany no more than 10 guests under 15 per day and have to be with their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit and be available by phone while they're visiting.

Guests under 15 found alone without a chaperone will be removed from the park.

The chaperone requirement applies to all Six Flags Fiest Texas Fright Fest one-day ticket and Season Pass holders.

According to Six Flags Fiesta's website, Fright Fest will be every Friday-Sunday from Sept. 7 to Nov. 3. (Also every Thursday from Oct. 17-31)
