DENVER — After a long absence, Luis Miguel is going on tour.
El Sol de México, or the Sun of Mexico, as he is commonly known, announced the dates for his 43-date North and South American tour. But there's bad news for Denver fans. He will not make a stop here.
The bolero and ranchera star will kick off his tour on Aug. 3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with stops in major cities such as Chicago and Miami, and will conclude on Dec. 17 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
It is the first tour for Luis Miguel in years. He gave his most recent concert in September 2019 with his tour Gira México por siempre, in which, according to El País, he gave around 150 concerts in 15 different countries with the final show in Las Vegas.
The career of the 52-year-old Mexican artist, who was born in Puerto Rico, took off in the '80s, and since then fans old and new have been singing to some of his biggest hits like "Ahora te puedes marchar" and "La Incondicional."
