KENS 5 is saying goodbye to Bridget Smith, the longest-running host of the station's morning lifestyle show "Great Day SA."
Bridget has been a trusted friend for San Antonio morning television viewers for nearly a decade on the show, and before that as a reporter for Eyewitness News.
She announced in December in a letter to the station's staff that she would be leaving KENS 5 after more than 20 years.
"KENS-TV and Great Day SA have been two of the great loves of my life," she said. "Both my professional and personal life has been enriched by this station, and this show, in ways I can’t describe."
