A San Antonio college is offering a degree in digital influencing.
In a press release UTSA says they have a new degree program giving students a full education on how to be an effective digital influencer.
The degree will help students learn the skills needed to find success in the world of social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
The press release describes the degree as "unique" and isn't just about mindlessly scrolling social media but focuses on strategy, analytics, and sharpening digital media skills.
Students will also learn how to build a digital brand, precisely identifying target audiences and creating persuasive messaging.
Vaping banned in San Antonio?
Metro Health will hold a briefing on amending the current City of San Antonio Smoke Free Ordinance to add Electronic Smoking Devices, also known as e-cigarettes or vapes to the definition of smoking.
This means taking e-cigarettes out of no-smoking areas in San Antonio.
The briefing happens at 2:00 p.m. today at City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
Tap and pay at Texas markets
SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B is offering a new service in the check-out line as they continue to live up to their popular slogan "here everything's better."
The Texas-based grocery store is now offering "tap-to-pay" at its registers in all Central Market locations across the state including the San Antonio location on Broadway Street.
