SAN ANTONIO — In this first edition of Grub or Flub, KENS 5's Luke Whitney traveled to Chunky’s Burgers and More to take on what is dubbed to be the “Hottest Burger on the Planet” in the Four Horsemen Challenge.
If Luke is able to complete a challenge, it will be considered a 'Grub.' If he loses the challenge, then it is a 'Flub.'
The burger consists of jalapeños, serrano peppers, habanero “poison” sauce and five of the feared ghost peppers.
Here are the rules:
- 25 minutes to eat the burger
- Allowed to eat/drink anything except for remedies
- There is no restroom break or sharing of the burger
- If the burger is completed within the 25 minutes, a five-minute waiting period with no water/milk begins
If Luke completes each step, then he will earn the right to have his picture on Chunky's Wall of Flame!
More than 30,000 people have attempted the dreaded Four Horsemen Challenge, which has a less than 10% completion rate.
