SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio restaurant will make an appearance on one of the Food Network's most popular tv shows - for the second time.

Fat Tummy Empanadas will be showcased on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: Triple D Nation" Friday at 8 p.m. CT.  The local eatery first made their debut on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" in 2018.

Guy Fieri hosts the show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: Triple D Nation" where he returns to some of the previously featured food stops from his hit show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."

Guy stopped by the Alamo City restaurant and got a taste of their alfajores and choripan sandwich - which will be featured in the episode titled "Triple D Nation: All Dough'ed Up."

The Food Network wrote a description of the latest episode and posted it on their website:

"A San Antonio spot is serving up a taste of Argentina with their chorizo and chimichurri sandwich, plus a decadent dulce de leche-coconut cookie combo."

The restaurant posted on Facebook about their excitement over the episode.

"We are very flattered and excited to share with you all that we will be on the spin-off series, Triple D Nation: All Dough’ed Up. Season 6, Episode 4."
