Low maintenance kitty named Jean Clawed Van Damme needs loving home | Forgotten Friends

He wants nothing more than a comfortable couch to sleep on next to a human who loves him.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Our "Forgotten Friends" series showcases a dog or cat each week that has spent a lengthy time at an area shelter, just waiting for someone to notice them and bring them home to love.

This week’s Forgotten Friend is a five-year-old black and white kitty named Jean Clawed Van Damme that arrived at the Humane Society in New Braunfels as a stray back in April.

"After a month with us, he really started to struggle," said shelter staff. "He was lucky enough to find a dedicated foster home who has been caring for him all year, but he's really ready to find his forever home.

He’s a super chill kitty that just wants a comfy couch to sleep on, next to a human who loves him while watching tv.

He’s happy staying inside and doesn’t need much space.

He gets along with other pets but would probably prefer to be the only one.

"Jean Clawed is tolerant of other pets, but prefers a quiet environment where he can rest, relax, and live his best couch potato life," said shelter staff.

He’s chipped, current on his vaccines and already neutered.

It’s only $5 to adopt him right now during Bisselll Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters.

He’s currently in a foster home, so if you want to meet him, call the shelter.
