SAN ANTONIO -- A supervisor at the city detention center was arrested around 12 a.m. Sunday and is accused of assaulting his ex-wife.
Sgt. Ryan McFarland is charged with assault of a family member causing bodily injury.
Sources told KENS 5 he was involved in an altercation with his ex-wife during a "child exchange" Saturday evening. She recorded the fight on her cell phone and reportedly called police.
McFarland was arrested a few hours later.
