SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Pets Alive! is waiving adoption fees for more than two weeks during December in the hopes that more animals find permanent homes during the holiday season.
SAPA! is taking part in the Bissell Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope Event from Dec. 1 through Dec. 17 as part of their Home for the Pawlidays campaign.
During this time adoption fees for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens will be waived. Every pet adopted from SAPA! also receives vaccinations, preventatives, is microchipped and is spayed or neutered.
Officials say the kennels and fosters at SAPA! are at full capacity with over 750 animals currently in their care.
