BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK, Texas — Big Bend National Park was named one of the best national parks in the country according to the Wall Street Journal.
They listed 40 national parks and Big Bend National Park was ranked number four out of all the parks.
Guadalupe Mountains also made the list ranked number nine.
The rankings were based on counted crowd sizes, trails, campsites, among other criteria.
Isle Royale National Park in Michigan ranked number one. It was called "the true wilderness, with moose and wolves."
The park has more than 165 miles of hiking trails and is also one of the most secluded areas in the entire U.S., having the least amount of visitors last year.
