Cat missing after Converse home catches fire twice in 12 hours

The good news: She's microchipped, so anyone who thinks they spot her can get her scanned at an animal care facility.

CONVERSE, Texas — This is 3-year-old Charlotte.

Her owner, Amanda, says that when her Converse home caught fire twice twice in a 12-hour period last week, Charlotte managed to escape the flames both times.

But now Charlotte is missing. Amanda thinks she might be hiding in the Converse North Park area.

The streets closest to the house are Meadow Branch and Meadow Gate.

Charlotte is microchipped, so Amanda says anyone who sees her cat whose whiskers are singed – but looks as though she's wearing a tuxedo – can have her scanned at any animal care facility.
