SAN ANTONIO — Duck Donuts San Antonio is offering two new boxed assortments of doughnuts reflecting the St. Patrick’s Day holiday and the new ride at SeaWorld.
The two boxes are called the Lucky Duck Assortment and the Catapult Falls Assortment.
The Lucky Duck Assortment features a dozen doughnuts, each different from the next. Some are vibrant with green coloring, others have unique icing patterns, and some are even topped with Lucky Charms cereal.
“Come in store and get this wonderful assortment, which is beautiful, delicious, crunchy, and different,” Ben Newell, Owner of the Duck Donuts locations on Huebner and Loop 1604.
These delicious treats will only be available for a limited time through March.
The Catapult Falls Assortment was created to showcase the partnership between SeaWorld and Duck Donuts, and the unveiling of SeaWorld’s newest attraction, Catapult Falls, a "Launch Flume Coaster,” the first one in the world.
“We were asked to create a doughnut and an assortment that kind of matches the theme of the ride,” Newell said.
Duck Donuts will be offering The Catapult Falls Assortment until March 31.
“The Catapult Falls Assortment is so creative, but I do love one called the trail mix. It’s a chocolate icing with crushed pretzels and mini chocolate chips. It will blow your mind. It is so good. The crunch, the chocolate sweetness and the saltiness from the pretzels. It’s a great go to.”
Customers can also enter into a contest for a chance to win a four pack of season passes to SeaWorld or get a 50% off discount for one personal ticket.
“Come in and try it and see which one you like the best,” Newell said.
Plus, Duck Donuts will be offering a Magical Charms milkshake until St. Patrick's Day.
“It is delicious, beautiful. It is matching of your Irish luck,” Newell said.
Newell said Duck Donuts San Antonio specifically designed the Catapult Falls Assortment, and their corporate team is in charge of the annual holiday assortments.
Their seasonal assortments come around every year but Newell said the boxes are slightly altered with the hopes of producing new doughnuts for customers.
