SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio area community is invited to the 4th annual backpack giveaway Thursday evening where students can receive free backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
Malouff International Group is providing 1,000 backpacks to support children in need as they prepare for the academic year.
Each backpack includes a spiral, erasers, pencils, crayons, folders and pens.
The giveaway will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Urban Air Trampoline & Adventure Park on Bandera Road.
There is no registration required and the distribution is on a first come first serve basis.
Maloff understands the challenges faced by parents and guardians during the back-to-school season and wants to help alleviate the financial burdens for families.
