SAN ANTONIO — Friday the 13th deals are back and tattoo shops are ready to help ink lovers save money this year.
Luckily you don't have to look far. Several shops in San Antonio are offering deals, and we compiled a list of the best ones below.
The Night Owl Tattoos Studio will host award-winning tattoo artists at both of their locations in San Antonio: 7121 US Highway 90 Suite #230 and 1816 Fredericksburg Road. Book now before it's too late!
"The number 13 has always been associated with bad luck and for the sailors, the number 13, they kind of wanted to, like, revert it and make it into good luck. So they have been getting the number 13 tattooed on them so now kind of been like the whole culture," Tattoo Artist Monica De La Plata said.
The Blackbook Tattoo Studio is offering a flash sale for Friday the 13th that actually started Wednesday. The studio showed off their tattoo options for $20. Doors open 11 a.m. Friday on a first come, first serve basis.
"Usual shop minimums are $80 to 100. And why not give them, you know, the option to get a $20 tattoo and still satisfy that craving for the ink that you want," Owner Javier Cavarria said.
Master Minds Tattoo, located at 13231 Nacogdoches Road, showed off their $40, $60, $80 and $100 flash sales for tattoos and piercings. Among the designs being offered: a kitty ghost, an anchor, flower designs and skeleton keys.
It's Live through This Tattoos has been running its Friday the 13th $13 tattoos deal all month, and will be continuing it until this Friday. Appointments are on a walk-in basis only at 619 Southwest 24th Street #101, but the shop is encouraging visitors to bring their friends so artists can ink them up. They're also running an online sale until Saturday.
Reflection INK, located at 7405 West US Highway 90, will be giving out $13 tattoos but say they have limited availability.
Into the Void promises fresh designs and good times with their $100 to $130 flash sale, running from noon to midnight at 1016 South Presa on Friday the 13th.
Doomsday Tattoo is offering $13 tattoos and $13 to $31 piercings during their 24 Hour Tattoo Party of Terror held at 910 San Pedro on Friday the 13th.
Ink Couture Tattoos will be offering $13 + $7 tip designs and $31 + $9 tip designs (cash only) at all four of their locations in San Antonio. Doors open at noon and tattoos will be given on a first come, first served basis.
Icon Ink will be offering $20 tattoos, $31 piercing and $31 tooth gems at their shop located on the 7530 block of Bandera Road #150.
Twisted Tattoo will be doing a $13 tattoo flash sale (with a $7 setup fee) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at their shop located at 1031 Patricia Drive. They will be accepting walk-ins, but appointments are preferred.
