SAN ANTONIO — It's that time of year when visitors to the River Walk will notice something a bit different about one of San Antonio's most popular attractions.
With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, the River Walk has magically transformed into the River Shannon—as it has done every year 1968. It's thanks to 25 gallons of (eco-friendly) green dye that city workers poured into the water.
The River Walk is expected to stay green until Wednesday, St. Patrick's Day.
