San Antonio Zoo honoring 'Frontline Heroes' with free admission

The discount aims to show appreciation for doctors, nurses, police officers, fire fighters, and EMT's across Texas.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Zoo is celebrating Frontline Heroes Appreciation Month with free admissions. 

The zoo will offer free admission to all frontline heroes upon presentation of valid identification documents. Four guest accompanying the frontline heroes can use a 50% discount off an Any Day Admission ticket. 

The event begins September 1 through September 30 and aims to show appreciation for doctors, nurses, police officers, fire fighters, and EMT's across Texas. 

"At San Antonio Zoo, we deeply value the courage and commitment of our frontline heroes who consistently put others before themselves," said Tim Morrow, President & CEO of San Antonio Zoo. "This initiative is our way of saying thank you, offering these extraordinary individuals a chance to unwind and enjoy quality time with their families. We hope this gesture allows them to feel our sincere gratitude for their remarkable service and dedication."

After September 21 guests will also have the opportunity to experience Zoo Boo.
