SAN ANTONIO — Guests can meet Rurik and Mai'a, two new additions at SeaWorld San Antonio.

SeaWorld welcomed two new animals to its ever-growing family this summer with a baby beluga whale and pacific white-sided dolphin. The calves names were announced Monday morning.

The male beluga whale, "Rurik" weighed 135 pounds at birth but now weighs about 300 pounds.

The female white-sided dolphin, "Mai'a" was born to fan favorite Ohana. And Mai'a is actually the Hawaiian word for banana.

SeaWorld says both the calves and their mothers continue to do well. The calves are set to make appearances in the Oceans Discovery performances during the Beluga Whale Tour.

During November, guests are invited to Inside Look, a behind-the-scenes view of some of their favorite animals.
