Where to find this Stanley cup-themed mural in San Antonio

Colton Valentine has created murals of some of the most well-known San Antonio and U.S. celebrities. Now he gives his take on a very different 2024 trend.

SAN ANTONIO — One of the most sought-after products of the year so far has been spotted in San Antonio, but you can't take this version of Stanley's uber-popular pink tumblers home with you.

Colton Valentine – the prolific San Antonio muralist behind eye-popping wall art of Santa Clause, Vicente Fernandez and Victor Wembanyama – is back with another pink-hued piece of a Stanley cup featuring some Alamo City details, including the words "Quencher 210."

The pink 40 oz. cups mark Stanley's third collaboration with Starbucks and Target, and drew long lines when the special-edition tumbler was released Jan. 3. Some stories sold out within minutes of opening, and Starbucks previously said there were no plans to restock the item.

The effect: Some of the cups are going for hundreds of dollars on resale sites.

Valentine's mural can be visited just north of downtown, at 802 San Pedro, where it shares a wall with other works from the artist. One Instagram user responding to his post said all it needs to be SA-official is "some chamoy on the rim."

"No fighting over that Stanley!!!!!" another user wrote.
