SAN ANTONIO — The University of Incarnate Word is celebrating a major milestone for a former faculty member.
Sister Margaret Rose Palmer turned 100-years-old on Saturday and celebrated alongside university President Thomas Evans and Lisa Evans - all while donning an adorable pink crown.
Palmer is an Incarnate Ward alumna, former faculty member and a current member of the Sister of Charity of the Incarnate Word, according to the school's Facebook page.
The university asked people to share their birthday greetings via their Facebook post which had over 100 interactions and dozens of heartfelt notes.
