SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old was shot while driving his vehicle on the east side, causing him to crash, according to police.
Officers were called to the intersection of Sterling Street and Bookertee Road at about 12:05 a.m. Saturday morning for a shooting in progress.
The man said he was driving in the area when he was shot by an unknown suspect. Him being shot caused him to crash into a parked vehicle in the 500 block of Dorie Street. He then fled on foot.
The victim sustained a minor graze wound and was treated on scene.
The suspect is still unknown, and this shooting is still under investigation.
