SAN ANTONIO — Three teens were arrested after hitting two other vehicles in a stolen car and attempting to flee the scene on foot Friday night, authorities said.

San Antonio police said they initially received information Thursday about a stolen 2024 BMW. Later that same day, the vehicle was reportedly involved in multiple thefts around Bexar County.

Police said the BMW was later found abandoned but two other vehicles were stolen: a white Ford Explorer and black Infiniti.

On Friday, police were notified that the stolen vehicles could be in the area on the 4900 block of Woodstone. Officers began searching various nearby apartment complexes where the stolen white Ford explorer was found abandoned.

Police said officers also saw someone driving the stolen black Infiniti. The officers attempted to stop the Infiniti but the driver tried to evade.

Police said the Infiniti struck two other vehicles while trying to flee the area - causing minor damage. Three suspects exited the Infiniti and fled on foot.

All three suspects were located and arrested on multiple charges and more charges are expected.

Two firearms were recovered by police along with the three stolen vehicles.

Police said this remains an ongoing investigation.
