Antoinette Martinez found guilty of killing SAPD detective's son in 2014

Antoinette Martinez has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for her role in the murder of an SAPD detective's son.

According to the Bexar County District Attorney's Office, Antoinette Martinez has been found guilty of capital murder for the 2014 deaths of Xavier Cordero and Steven Rendon. She will serve life without the possibility of parole.

Cordero was the son of a San Antonio Police Department detective, He was found in a cow pasture on the southeast side of Bexar County back in June of 2014.

Martinez confessed to the killing after she was arrested for a failed attempted robbery.

Last year, her co-defendant in the murder trial, Cameo Clines, received two life sentences plus 20 years in prison for his involvement.
