According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Adelaida Adams has been arrested and charged with Medicaid fraud.
She’s also been charged with one count of felony theft involving SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.
The sheriff’s office says that Deputy Adams has been placed on administrative leave while they conduct an investigation.
