BCSO searching for man accused of stealing beer, hitting woman with full beer can

Deputies say the woman laughed at the suspect when he tripped and fell, so he threw a beer at her and hit her in the head.

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect who stole some beer from a convenience store, then threw a full beer at a woman hitting her in the head.

It happened on Nov. 6 at Fischer's gas station on Marbach Road at West Loop 1604 on the west side of town.

When deputies arrived they found the woman with a noticeable bump on her forehead. She told deputies that a man in a red sweater and black shorts went inside the store, grabbed two 18-packs of Michelob Ultra, and ran out.

She said she followed him and saw him trip and fall, and laughed.  That's when the man threw a full beer can at her from about 6–7 feet away, hitting her on the forehead and causing a big bump

The suspect drove off, heading down Marbach Road towards Loop 1604 and turning south towards Highway 90.

The vehicle was described as an older model, single-cab white truck, and the man in the red hood was not wearing a mask.

If you recognize the suspect in the red sweatshirt, please call (210) 335-6000 or you can email bcsotips@bexar.org.
