SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department have made an arrest of the person they believe is responsible for the murder of a 22-year-old man during Fiesta of this year.
Azariah Joshua Rosas Feliciano, 22, was killed in a shooting in the early morning of April 27 along the intersection of N. Main Avenue and Travis Street.
Police say Feliciano was with friends riding in the bed of a pickup truck in the downtown area around 12:30 a.m. They encountered a group walking who they had gotten into a disagreement with earlier in the evening at a Fiesta event.
Police said someone in the group pulled out a handgun and shot at the pick up truck, police say.
Police say Feliciano was struck by the gunfire and died from his injuries. Two females were also shot in the incident, but recovered from their injuries.
An arrest affidavit says investigators received several tips from the public after a Crime Stoppers report aired. In July, police say the two suspects were arrested after they bailed out of a stolen vehicle.
Witnesses identified a suspect, Muslim Abdalridha and a second suspect. Witnesses confirmed that he was the one who shot at Feliciano and the others.
Abdalridha is facing murder charges. KENS 5 is working to obtain details of a second suspect.
