SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help locating a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting at a Sonic on the northwest side that occurred in July.
Police said Adiah Namir Roberson shot and killed restaurant manager Daniel Shrewsbury at the Sonic location near Babcock Road and Huebner Road on July 7.
Authorities were able to identify Roberson as the shooter after receiving numerous tips from the community, officials said.
If you know anything about Roberson's whereabouts you are asked to call police. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest.
Tuesday, SAPD says they believe Roberson may be in the Austin area. Anyone with any information on the suspect in the Austin area, may submit tips anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. Joshua Albert Joseph, the alleged driver, was arrested in connection to this murder on Aug. 16.
Joseph said he didn't know the Roberson well and was recently giving her rides in order to earn some extra money for his family.
"Don't give nobody rides cause it's just gonna mess your family up," Joseph said. “I apologize for the actions of somebody that happened to be with me and none of that shouldn't have happened the way it happened.”
