SAN ANTONIO — A driver slammed a car into a house on the eastside and somehow got out of the tangled debris and then got away, according to police.
San Antonio Police responded to a home on Pecan Valley Drive at Hicks Avenue, not far from Roland Road, around 12:22 a.m. Sunday for reports of a vehicle hitting a structure.
According to officers, that driver slammed a vehicle into the side of a home causing severe damage. A woman inside the home was not injured and able to get out of the house on her own.
Police did not find anyone inside the vehicle when they arrived. It's unknown what cause the driver to crash. They are still trying to locate the driver.
A pedestrian was checked by EMS on the scene, but it's unclear what their injuries were at this time.
