Apparent 'drug deal gone bad' involving juveniles leaves two in critical condition, according to police

At least one of the victims was a juvenile, according to police. All four people involved, including three juveniles, have been detained.

SAN ANTONIO — Two people are severely injured after an apparent "drug deal gone bad" in front of a north-side antique store, according to police.

At about 12:30 p.m. Sunday, police received several calls about a shooting in the area of an antique store in the 7200 block of Blanco Rd.

When police got there, they located two people laying in the parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. They were both taken to the hospital with apparent life-threatening head injuries, according to police.

Details are limited, but police believe this was most likely a "drug deal gone bad." Police say that the deal was between one person on one side and three juveniles on the other. After an argument, shots were fired leaving one person on both sides shot.

Police say everybody involved are in custody as the investigation continues.
