Mother of Savanah Soto arrested in unrelated case while attending bond hearing for man accused of hiding her daughter's body

Gloria Cordova is the mother of Savanah Soto, the pregnant woman who was found shot to death in a locked car along with her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra.

SAN ANTONIO — The mother of a pregnant woman who was killed around Christmas was arrested Monday over an unrelated incident, authorities say.

Gloria Cordova is the mother of Savanah Soto, the pregnant woman who was found shot to death in a car parked in San Antonio's Medical Center area along with her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra.

Cordova was arrested on a warrant for failure to stop and give information in an unrelated incident.

Cordova was attending the bond hearing for Ramon Preciado, 53, the man accused of helping his 19-year-old son, Christopher Preciado, hide the bodies of Soto and Guerra. During the hearing, the judge called for a break, and that's when Bexar County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cordova.

On Monday, a judge agreed to slightly reduce one of Ramon's bonds. His total bonds are now $450,000.

Myrta Romanos, 47, who is believed to be Christopher's stepmom and Ramon's wife, is facing three charges in the Soto case, including altering/destroying a corpse, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
