HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A Harris County detention officer accused of sexually assaulting a co-worker appeared in court on Friday.
According to court documents, 26-year-old Jeleel Williams took the victim, who had been drinking, to his house after a detention academy graduation ceremony in July.
Prosecutors said that Williams admitted to police that he had consensual sex with the victim but that it didn't feel morally right.
He posted a $50,000 bond and is due back in court in November.
Williams was suspended with pay.
