Can you identify him? | Burglary caught on camera

Business owners said this person has been breaking into shops near Broadway Street.

SAN ANTONIO — Baristas at Kiki's Coffee walked into work early Wednesday morning to find the glass door shattered, bottles of liquor missing and any cash left from last night completely gone. Owner Alix Mane-von Broock said they didn't have much cash to steal, but the person who broke in caused at least $500 of damage. They were also caught on video.

The thief was covered head to toe with Adidas gear, a mask and gloves.

"It was very clear that they were looking for easy money. Just some quick cash," Mane-von Broock said. "They were looking for a safe but we are not a cash business. He really didn't get away with much."

The business replaced the door by the end of Wednesday, but they don't want it happening again.

Unfortunately, there weren't the only shop hit. Staff said similar burglaries were reported at Squeezers Juice Bar and Revolución Coffee nearby.

Press Coffee Owner Bronson Holbrook saw a person in the exact same outfit approach their business a day before, around 3 a.m., with what appeared to be burglary tools.

"No one has any business being out at three in the morning with a crowbar and a glass breaker, anywhere really. So that's obvious he was up to no good." Holbrook said. "You have to be a creep to do that. There is no reason to do that. Small businesses are important to the city and to try to disrupt that... it's annoying."

Both business owners are hoping someone can identify the burglary suspect, if only by his movements. Mane-von Broock also hopes SAPD will step up patrols in the area until the person is caught.

"If you recognize this person please say something. Give us a tip. We do have a cash reward for any information that could lead to the arrest of this person. I feel this person really deserves to get what is coming to them," Mane-von Broock said.
