Caught on camera: Suspect in three car burglaries attempts fourth before property owner scares him off

Police said the man may have tattoos on his back that are barely visible above his shirt collar.

SAN ANTONIO — Kerrville Police are looking for a suspect in three car burglaries who was caught in the act by a property owner before he could commit a fourth burglary.  

According to KPD, the suspect was caught on security camera video on August 19. The car burglaries all happened near each other on the 700 block of West Main Street, and the 600 and 700 block of Galbraith Avenue.   

A witness told police, the suspect took off on foot and ran down the drainage ditch by Jersey Mike's, then crossed over Junction Highway and into the "Take it Easy RV Park." 

Police said the man may have tattoos on his back that are barely visible above his shirt collar.
