LIVE OAK, Texas — The Live Oak Police Department is investigating a QuikTrip shooting that sent a victim to the hospital.
On Friday at about 7:35 p.m., officers responded to 6728 Randolph Blvd. for a shooting in progress.
When they got there, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The suspects had fled the scene before officers got there.
A source with the department says two people had met up for a Facebook Marketplace sale and the transaction took a turn.
The victim was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. His status is currently unknown.
