Man accused of running over teen with car after argument over marijuana products escalates

Darren Jamar Farrow, 19, was arrested for Collision Involving Personal Injury.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run accident involving a teen in Converse, officials said.

Darren Jamar Farrow, 19, was arrested for Collision Involving Personal Injury.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, on July 8 deputies responded to a hit-an-run accident at the intersection of Windfield Path and Dunlap Fields.

When deputies arrived they found a teen who was apparently hit by a vehicle that failed to stop and render aid.

The suspect had fled the scene, authorities said.

Upon further investigation, deputies said the teen had approached Farrow's car, identified as a Dodge Charger, on the passenger side to sell marijuana products including THC edibles.

Deputies said an argument ensued which caused the teen to reach inside the car to take the items back. Farrow then began driving off with the teen hanging onto the vehicle. The teen eventually let go of the car and rolled underneath it and was run over.

The teen sustained a broken fibula and required surgery and metal hardware to repair it.

Farrow was booked into the Bexar County jail.
