SAN ANTONIO — A man and woman were shot while trying to leave a northwest-side apartment complex Thursday night, authorities say.
San Antonio Police say a 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were leaving her apartment on Pipers Creek Street around 11 p.m. when a man fired several shots into their vehicle.
The man was hit multiple times and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The woman was also hit but was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the suspect fled into the apartment complex but was not found.
The man and woman did know the suspect, detectives say.
Police say this is an active investigation.
No other information was provided.
