SAPD: Man chased, shot multiple times on city's northwest side

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

SAN ANTONIO — A man in his 30s is in stable condition after being chased and shot at near a Chevron on the northwest side, officials say.

San Antonio police say the man lives at the apartment complex across the street but is known for hanging out at the Chevron on Oaklawn Drive. The clerk of the convenience store heard multiple gunshots around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

The victim was found down in the street with gunshot wounds to the back and leg. Bullet casings were found going out to the street, signifying that the victim was being chased.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The incident is being investigated by officials and there is no information on a potential suspect.
