SAN ANTONIO — A man is in critical condition after being involved in a shootout with a woman who police say is still on the loose.
Officers with the San Antonio Police Department responded to Fredericksburg Road and Northwest Loop 410 after receiving reports of shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers interviewed some witnesses who said a male and female were arguing outside when shots began to be fired. They aren't certain on who shot first, but shots were reportedly fired by both individuals.
SAPD said the male was struck two times in the chest and one in the arm and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Witnesses told police the female fled towards the Interstate 10 and police are still searching for her with the help of a drone unit.
Authorities did not identify either of the individuals.
