SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating an apparent shooting after finding a man with a gunshot wound in the middle of the road early Friday morning.
Police responded to the city's northeast side near Austin Highway and Wurzbach Road for a shooting in progress around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 20s or 30s laying in the street with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
Police say there were no witnesses or suspect description.
